I removed and reinstalled, but that has not helped.

If you have snow leopards, ooVoo will work for 14 September
Have you recently updated your operating system? I know there are some problems with incompatible software with the latest Mac operating system, such as 10.5.8 (last update Leopard) and 10.6 (Snow Leopard). I use Snow Leopard and had no software problems on.
