Hand Mixer works well together. Simply use a container that easy to use for the required amount. Depending on the bowls or plates better not curved, flat, and keep moving the mixer, change the angle if necessary.
See my answer above and the others here for loads of used mixer

I have a ball. It works wonders in small amounts of food and make fresh mashed potatoes or my blender or food processor. And it comes with 12 cans, as some have to be adhered to the leaves, remove the leaves, and its own lid for storage. Not sure whether the price, but I think Wal-Mart leads them. Since most baby stores and Wal-Mart and Target have hand mills for the production of baby food.
